Being thankful means saying thank you to whatever you receive throughout the day. It’s a mindset that is focused on blessings and takes nothing, and no one for granted. A thankful heart uplifts the soul.

Say thank you to your body for all of the functions it performs for you each day without you even having to think about it. Thank your body for being the vehicle for your soul to take this incredible journey through life.
Say thank you when your turn on the faucet and clean water comes pouring out to meet your needs. Say thank you when you flip a switch and the lights come on in your home. Say thank you when you start your car and it takes you safely where you want to go.
Say thank you to the sun that shines on the earth. Say thank you to the trees that give you oxygen to breathe. Say thank you to the flowers that bloom; the rain and snow that blesses mother nature; and the oceans, lakes and rivers that support our human existence.
Say thank you to the workers that serve you. From the checker at the grocer store and the server in the restaurant to the repairman, mailman, and garbage collector. Just imagine what life would be like without them.
Say thank you to your family members for all that they do for you in big and small ways.
Say thank you to the pets that love you unconditionally. Say thank you to the home that shelters you from the elements.
Say thank you when you wake up in the morning for another day on planet earth. It’s a new opportunity to live to your full potential and start the day by acknowledging the gift of life. You can even say thank you to the challenges that make you stronger.
Say thank you to the authors who write books for you to read, the producers who make movies for you to enjoy, and the artists who create art for you to appreciate. Creativity that is shared is a wonderful gift to be appreciated.
