To take control of yourself and your life you need to be centered. Although you can’t control anything outside of yourself you can control how you respond.

In this week’s blog you’ll learn seven ways to stay centered in your heart and live in a natural state of ease.

I Am Centered

When you find yourself in emotional waters the first thing to do is get centered in your heart. Returning to your center allows you to naturally accept whatever is happening with grace and ease. Your heart brings the being to human being.

"A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe." ~ Wayne Dyer

ACTION STEPS

As a human you identify with your body and mind. As a being you identify with your soul and spirit. The value in bringing these identities together is to give your soul the best human experience. To feel centered remember that you're both physical and non-physical and your heart center is the bridge between heaven and earth.

Chronic stress is the habitual resistance to life. It's the underlying source of dis-ease because it causes inflammation that turns into many chronic health conditions. Center yourself in the belief that life is happening for you, not to you, and you'll be able to accept life rather than resist it. Acceptance is the key to letting go of stress and anxiety.

Being centered brings you into the present. In each moment you are free to observe the world around you without judgment. Off-center thinking is more focused on the past and future. This type of thinking usually comes with blame and judgment which causes depression and anxiety. Whenever you need to return to the present simply breathe consciously and relax into being.

Your mind is a tool for your heart. You'll feel centered when you allow your heart to lead so your mind can follow. If you leave your heart out of the equation of being human you'll feel like a ship without a captain. It's much easier to steer your human vessel through life with a captain at the helm.

During challenging times it's normal to get thrown off-center. This is because your ego is trying to take charge from its fear-based perspective to help you survive. You can return to your center by asking yourself this question: "Who would I be without this fear?" You would be a soul having a human experience with all the spiritual resources you need to overcome challenges.

When anyone or anything disturbs your natural state of ease you can take your power back with a simple practice. Place both hands over your heart center in the middle of your chest and say: I am centered. Repeat several times while breathing deeply and notice how quickly you're able to change your emotional state. This is how you live with integrity from within and stand in your power.

The soul communicates through intuition, physical symptoms and emotions. The center where your soul resides in your body is in your heart chakra. Green is the color that represents this chakra. You'll feel more centered by adding more green to your life by eating greens, drinking green juice, and wearing a green gemstone i.e. malachite for health and healing (included in our Angel Collection at www.satorimantras.com).
