Generosity grows in a golden field of abundance and extends out in many directions. It uses the energy of money, time, attention and love as ways of giving from the heart. Being generous fills your energetic signature with a vast array of positive vibes.

“Generosity and kindness always feel good to give, and it never feels good to give grief or negativity.”  ~ Jason Becker

ACTION STEPS

Giving your money, time, love and attention are four ways to express generosity. It’s good for the soul and teaches the ego to let go. Every time you choose to be generous you align with your soul’s purpose and your ego learns a valuable life lesson.

Money is at the root of goodness when it’s used to invest in your health. Be generous with your body by giving it plenty of pure water, fresh oxygen, organic produce, time in nature, natural supplements, enjoyable exercise, restful sleep, and healing sunlight.

Time wasted is gone forever; time shared is eternal. Since time is a mental construct what you believe has a powerful effect on your life. When you believe you have plenty of time you’re more willing to share it with others. Generosity is always time well spent.

Giving your attention is a supreme act of generosity. Your ego is often so self-absorbed that it can only give attention to itself. Your soul has the capacity to pay attention to others while maintaining healthy self-awareness. Kind attention is at the heart of loving relationships.

Being generous is a spiritual practice that operates from love rather than fear. Knowing that you are made of love allows you to give it freely without unnecessary worry. Your generosity of spirit is based on being a consistent source of love in the world.

Be generous with your food by sharing what you have with others. Giving in this way creates an enriching experience because it nourishes the human need for connection. Sharing a meal feeds the body as well as the soul.

Make generosity a way of life and you’ll discover that you always have more than enough money, time, attention and love. Giving is the other side of receiving because the two are inextricably connected. What you give, you receive in a circle of generosity.
